I am spending time today trying to get things with my business wrapped up for a while so once Lincoln gets here he gets plenty of attention. Sorry Lexi! I officially attended my last hearing on Friday. Here I am all dressed up and ready for Court.

Today is my due date and was our last doctor's appointment. It is also Sara and Jeannette's birthdays, and Jonny's sister had twins this morning! Sorry I couldn't provide another birthday Twin. June 4th would have been a good day, but I like June 5th too :)
The sonogram this morning confirmed many suspicions that Lincoln is BIG. Heck yeah! He has really broad shoulders and crazy long limbs. Not Surprising. (have you seen his dad?) The problem with that is my 5'2" frame. I like your frame :) My doctor feels like the reason I am barely dilated and Lincoln is sitting so high is because he does not fit in the birth canal. He gave us the pros and cons of attempting being induced vs. a C-section, but in the end felt that we would have to go to c-section anyway so we decided to skip a step... and the hours of labor. Not gonna lie, I'm kinda relieved. Was not looking forward to have my hand broken while being supportive hubby. The complications associated with having a baby as large as Lincoln naturally are super scary and could cause life long complications, so I am going to suck it up and take the scar. Even though I am not excited about having a c-section, I am not to disappointed in getting to skip the 18+ hours of labor.
Here is to one more day of being childless! I am wrapping up cases, doing dishes, finishing laundry and Celebrating Sara! Tomorrow our world changes. For the better... can't wait!
